The second installment in updates from our new Head Coach Tony.

As I mentioned in my first "View from The Bridge" this follow on is to bring you up to date with the arrangements for winter nets. We have seven sessions booked at Holmfirth High School in their Sports Centre starting on Thursday 8th February and running to Thursday 22nd March from 8.00-9.00pm. From Thursday 22nd February until Thursday 22nd March the sessions will run from 7.30 -9.00pm as I have managed to secure the use of one of their gyms for half an hour from 7.30-8.00pm which will enable us to do some specialist activity
sessions.

In view of our time allocation it is vital that everyone is ready to start on time as there will be no opportunities for a group warm up. Punctuality to practice and matches is taken as a given unless there are extenuating circumstances. The expectation is that everyone will
have completed their own warm up before the start of each winter net session and there are changing rooms available for you to do this.

The Club have set a price of £4.00 per player per net session which is very much in line with what other clubs charge, Any players attending six or seven sessions will only be charged £20.00 and will get the 6th and 7th sessions free. If you can only attend four or less then you will be charged on a weekly basis. Please don't bring any money to
nets as I will be keeping a log of attendance and players will be charged when we collect subs for the season.

A date for your diary is Friday 16th March which will be the signing on night at the club and more details about this will follow in a "VFTB 3". I am delighted to say that Michael Bridge will be working with the 2nd XI as "The Voice in the changing room and around the
boundary", when available, and I am sure that he will be a huge asset to the team. The only downside to winter nets is that at present we only have two nets and the centre space area between the nets.

I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday 8th February.

Tony
