Brandon joins us fresh from the U19 World Cup where he captained Zimbabwe and was involved in the infamous game vs the West Indies, in which Zimbabwe were cruelly knocked out by the ‘Mankad’. In that same game Brandon produced one of the tournaments best pieces of fielding, when making an incredibly boundary save which was caught on camera here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/35470794
Following Zimbabwe’s successful World Cup, Brandon was rewarded with his first-class debut for the Mid West Rhinos. He impressed, taking 8 wickets against the Matabeland Tuskers including first innings figures of 16.4-5-45-6.
Whilst here at Thongsbridge Brandon will be heavily involved with our junior teams as well as helping out on the ground. I’m sure everyone will make Brandon very welcome this season!
