Congratulations to Michael Bridge and his talented team of Under 11's for winning the Area C title in the Sellers Huddersfield Under 11 Cricket League.

Before the final fixtures on Wednesday 3rd August, Kirkburton were on top of the table and ahead of Thongsbridge by 2 points, so Thongsbridge knew they had to win to be in with a chance of keeping the title

Having won their game against Lascelles Halll rather convincingly on the night, Thongsbridge players and parents had an agonising wait until the result of the Mirfield vs Kirkburton match was known. With Mirfield winning, Thongsbridge went 2 points clear at the top to take the title, having played 14, won 11, lost 1 and had 2 abandoned.
