We’re delighted to confirm the return of the Big Bridge Bash – Thongsbridge Cricket Club’s flagship summer event, taking place on Sunday 24 August 2025.

Now a firm favourite in the local calendar, the Big Bridge Bash blends fast-paced Hundred-style cricket with a full day of food, drink, family entertainment and a legendary evening party.

Cricket, but not as you know it

The cricket itself is a specially curated Hundred-format competition featuring top local and international talent , designed to deliver short, exciting matches with big hits, quick wickets and plenty of drama. Whether you’re a regular supporter or a first-time visitor, the on-field action is always worth watching.

Games start from 10am and run throughout the afternoon, with plenty of chances to cheer on familiar faces.

More than just cricket

Away from the pitch, there’s a huge amount going on. This year’s event will include:

• Games for children, including our infamous duck race
• Outdoor bar
• BBQ
• Music and entertainment throughout the day

As always, entry is completely free.

The Big Bridge Bash afterparty

When the sun goes down, the party really gets going. Our evening session features live music, lights, and a buzzing atmosphere. With the bar open late and plenty of food options available into the evening, it’s the perfect way to round off a fantastic bank holiday!
