Everyone at Thongsbridge CC was saddened to hear the recent news that Phil Hirst had passed away. Our thoughts and condolences go to Phil and his family.

Phil helped at the Club for many years in a number of different ways, which was greatly appreciated. He worked on the ground for several years and later became involved with umpiring, firstly at club level and then later progressed to the league pool of umpires.

A celebration of Phil’s life will be held on Thursday 27th February 2025 at Huddersfield Crematorium at 10.30am. People are then invited to the Terriers Together Suite at HTAFC. Please feel free to wear bright colours, football and cricket shirts.
